Wilson Bearing Up Well

Tuesday, July 31st, 2007

So I stared at those pics for a bit and realized that I recognized something. Take a look here:

wilsoncloseup.jpg

Wilson’s got a little friend! Don’t go mistaking him for any other bear. THAT, my dear readers, is none other than a world-famous Doctor Bear from the Vermont Teddy Bear company!

doctorbear.jpg

The Vermont Teddy Bear company has been making bears for over twenty years. All of their bears are guaranteed for the life of the bear (as long as you have the “butt” tag LOL) and all are made here in my home state of VT! All of the limbs move 360 degrees, and there is a bear for ANY occasions (and I do mean ANY). I have four of these bears (I’ll put up photos of my bears if you ask nicely!) and I love them to pieces!

If you’re looking to get a gift that will show your loved one how much you care, get a Vermont Teddy Bear. Or, you can get a Dr. Bear and have them embroider “Dr. House” on the bear! Talk about a unique keepsake! They’re truly the most unique, sweet gift you could ever get!

Chase and Cameron Married?

Sunday, July 29th, 2007

There’s a rumor going around that Jesse Spencer and Jennifer Morrison got married recently. I think it has something to do with these shots showing up in the Weddings In Style magazine recently.

I can’t get things straight - the magazine website just says that they’re planning their new life together - and the photos show her wearing a variety of different gowns.

I THINK that this was just a photo shoot for this magazine…or else the subject would’ve come up at the recent publicity events, right?

Anyway, enjoy the photos!

More from the TCA’s

house_cast_tca.jpg

Alright, we’ve got more information about Season 4!

Producer Katie Jacobs says:

“In the first episodes, House is alone and he is solving cases by himself. And Cuddy is pissed and (Wilson) thinks he is losing his mind. And Cuddy will insist, and eventually win, that he hire a new team. And he will do it in a very House-ian way. So essentially the truth is over the first episodes he’s going to call in all the resumes on his desk, it’s a very large number, I think 40, a large number, and we’re going to see who survives. We’re going to play a ‘House’ version of ‘Survivor.’

“We were on the phone with Fox, and we said, ‘We’re going to kind of play ‘Survivor’ with ‘House,’ and they said, ‘Don’t you mean you’re going to play ‘American Idol’ with ‘House?’

Afterwards, FOX network decided to let the cast members have fun on the Santa Monica pier by shutting it down for their express use.

Apparently Hugh likes bumper cars!

“Everyone’s Back….eventually”

Tuesday, July 24th, 2007

Hugh Laurie met with the press in order to talk about the fourth season of House, which begins on Sept 25th (way, WAY too far away).

Meeting with Hugh was a few of his friends - Omar Epps, Jennifer Morrison and Jesse Spencer!

“Everybody is back…eventually.” producer Katie Jacobs said.

“We’re going to play a House version of Survivor.” she also said.

The press asked him about the influx of British actors on American television. Hugh answered, “I can only apologize. I can only assume we’re cheap.”

I’m not sure how cheap he is - Hugh is currently getting about $300,000 per episode of House, but considering the cast of friends was getting almost a million dollars per episode at the end of the season, I guess he is fairly cheap!

I think Hugh needs a raise - what do you guys think?

New Cast Members - W/ Pics!!

Wednesday, July 18th, 2007

It’s out! The list of the new cast members to be on House this fall! Let’s get into detail and speculation, shall we?

Olivia Wilde

olivia_wilde.jpg

Formerly of the O.C. and The Black Donnely’s

I see Ms. Wilde as being Cameron’s counterpart - at least for awhile….she looks like she could pull off snobby/intelligent.

Kal Penn

kal_penn.jpg

Kal was recently on 24 and Harold and Kumar Go To Whitecastle.

Looking into my crystal ball I see….black jokes about Foreman being replaced with towel-head jokes about Kal.

Peter Jacobson

jacobsonp.jpg

Peter had a small part in Transformers, and was in The Starter Wife and Law & Order.

I’m not sure WHAT to expect from Jacobson (sorry I couldn’t find a bigger pic!)…he looks like he’d be a friend of Wilson’s, doesn’t he?

Anne Dudek

anne-dudek.jpg

Anne was most recently in Big Day.

I can see Anne taking the place of Piper Perabo’s character, Honey. The two are built the same, look similar, and have similar hairstyles. Maybe Piper cost too much?

Edi Gathegi

edi-gathegi.jpg

Edi was recently in Lincoln Heights and Gone Baby Gone.

We’ve FOUND our Foreman! He looks like he could be Foreman’s younger brother - albiet with a fro…doesn’t he?

According to “sources” - the five are supposed to be vying for a candidacy as a Fellow under House. for some reason, Peter doesn’t seem to fit for me. Maybe he’s an older man who decided to switch his speciality? Or a friend of Wilson’s who wants to train under House?! (God help him)

These five have signed a contract for an “undetermined amount of time”….wonder if anyone will make it through, or if the other three are coming back?!

So what do you think of the new cast?

Loss of Respect…

Sunday evening, browsing around, I found this:

And now any respect that I had for Jennifer Morrison has gone straight down the tubes…

I’m not sure HOW old this is, but it’s HALARIOUS!

Hugh in The Next Harry Potter?

Wednesday, July 11th, 2007

So Harry Potter And The Order Of The Phoenix is out - (and I will be heading this weekend to see it). Now everyone’s talking about who will play the roles in Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince.

J.K. Rowling has said that she’d like Bob Hoskins to play a role, and the director has confirmed that they are working on a deal with him. MTV has got a blog going about who they think would best play some of the roles. Check out this description in the book of Rufus Scrimgeour, the Minister of Magic:

“[He] looked rather like an old lion. There were streaks of grey in his mane of tawny hair and his bushy eyebrows; he had keen yellowish eyes behind a pair of wire-rimmed spectacles and a certain rangy, loping grace even though he walked with a slight limp.

Hmmm - rangy, loping grace - wire-rimmed spectacles - slight limp…..

HUGH!

In fact, that’s what the MTV people are saying. They believe that Hugh would be the best person to play the Minister of Magic in the next movie. I think it’d work - not only is he an amazing actor, but he’s british, which is sure to warm the heart of J.K. Rowling. What do you think?

Night Watch

hugh-night-watch.jpg

I’m always a day late and a dollar short in the summer, but here’s the new pic that’s circulating of Hugh in Night Watch. For your benefit, because I’m such a bad toad, here is where you can see tons more photos from Night Watch! It’s a german site, and you have to pay to see the large photos, but the thumbnails really give you an idea of what’s going on.

I have to say - I miss the scruff! How about you?

Wedding Plans

Monday, July 9th, 2007
morrisonspencertogether1.jpg

There has been word, now, about the engagement and wedding plans of our favorite doc’s in love - Jesse Spencer and Jennifer Morrison. Jesse let it slip that the two are planning on getting married by the end of this year! This seems extremely sudden to me, and I’m curious as to the truth of the rumor. IF they are getting married this year, they’re going to have to do it around House filming! Either that, or they’re not coming back for awhile…hmmm….jennifer-morrisons-engagement-ring.jpg

ARGH

This summer is FLYING by! I’m SO sorry…

I have to say, I was kind of upset that I only got one entry in for the banner contest - and that was from one of our own 451 Pressers….I need to contact him and let him know that he’s won, and put up the new banner as well, because it does rock.

Maybe I’ll do the contest again after House starts up for the fall - what do you think?
