David Morse in TV Guide

Hello House fans! I’m sorry that I disappeared for a bit, but there hasn’t been much news House wise, and the family kind of took over the house for Easter. But fortunately a little bit of news has come my way about House, so I’ve got something to share! The most recent TV Guide has an interview with David Morse, and they touch a bit upon his appearance on House! My husband’s favorite actor is David Morse, so he was ecstatic when he saw that David Morse was going to be in a few episodes, and even though he hated that he was a “bad guy”, he loved watching him. So what did TV Guide ask Mr. Morse?
TVGuide.com: How did it feel to stick it to Hugh Laurie’s curmudgeon on House?
Morse: [Laughs] Right now it feels painful because there are so many people who hold it against me! I had worked with David Chase, who ran Hack, and when they came up with the idea of a character who could stand up to Hugh Laurie’s character, he called me to see if I would be interested. I had not watched the show, so I mentioned it to some people I was with, and they said, “You have to do it!” It is such an unbelievable show and this character frankly needs somebody to go after him and put him in his place. So I said I’d give it a shot. It truly was great fun. Hugh is just amazing, and he really is a formidable character to go up against.
I know that, for awhile, he was one of the most hated people in the House world, but I’m sure we can forgive him now, right? Right?

Sex and the City studmuffin Jason Lewis has signed on to guest-star in a pivotal post-strike episode of House that will reaffirm Doc Crotchety’s obsession with dayime television.

The lovely Beth has put up a very interesting reading that was done by known astrologer Jonathan Cainor to Hugh. During the reading, he says that Hugh is and extrovert, unusual, larger than life, quick witted, full of confidence, loves the limelight. Beth says that she is surprised that Hugh later says that he isn’t anything like this.
