Hugh managed to sneak into the SAG awards and guess what? He won for best actor in a drama! I’ll put the Youtube up of his speech (which is hilarious) as soon as I can find it!!! Congrats Hugh!!

Looks like the House crew has showed up enforce at the Screen Actor’s Guild Awards! Or, for us normal people, the SAG awards. Even Kal Penn is there! So far we’ve got Lisa Edelstein, Omar Epps, Jennifer Morrison, and Kal, and I’ll keep adding photos as they arrive, although I’m wondering if Hugh is going to sneak in the back door again as he did for the last award!

To start with: congratulations to the entire cast and crew of House for winning the People’s Choice Award for Best Television Drama! You certainly deserve it - although I don’t classify House as a drama, more as the best hour of TV on all week (although I am starting to get almost as hooked on Fringe…thanks to it showing after House for so long.)
Let’s get down to business now, shall we? I got the HQ images of our lovely House ladies so that we can see how bad the damage was…and for a few, it was pretty bad. Let’s start with my favorite fashion victim lover, shall we?
Jennifer Morrison, step on down!
At first glance I thought “oh - she’s wearing a nice little silver dress. Appropriate length, good color, nice!” then I took a closer look. My guess? Jennifer headed to New York City for the New Years Eve ball dropping ceremony and decided to steal a few pieces off of the ball because she was “inspired”…either that or she took down the disco ball she had in her apartment and decided that some recycling was in order.
Seriously, what was she trying to accomplish with this dress? Yes, the color and length are great, and the shoes are killer - her hair looks good and even her makeup is fine, so why strap yourself into a dress that looks like it was a castoff from Janet Jackson’s canceled tour? (maybe THAT’s where she got it from…)
One thing that you don’t see from the front is this:
She.Has.No.Curves. The dress suggests curves from the front but once you see the side you realize that there’s nothing to her! Apparently she’s decided to drop even more weight since Olivia came on board and out-skinnied her, because I don’t remember Jennifer ever looking this thin.
Come on down Olivia Wilde!
At first glance this dress is extremely classy. I love how wispy it is and how it reminds me of classic Hollywood with a modern twist to it. I absolutely adore her arm bands and her makeup is flawless. I even love how a simply ponytail looks great with the dress. The only complaint I have is that she looks to skinny! Come on Olivia - put a little weight on! On one side it looks like the dress is hanging a bit, but I think that it’s just the fabric draping in a strange way. I just wish I could see what her shoes look like!

Nice long black dress - classic. A little peek-a-boo down at the bottom of the dress, which I adore, and a matching bag - nice. How can you go wrong with a long black dress?

Dear God! It looks like she snagged the plant holder that my grandmother used to use to hold her spider plants with! You know the one - it’s the same one almost every grandmother had - the thickly braided one that holds the spider plant suspended in the air so that the vines can drape down and annoy you? And your grandmother got bonus points if hers had beads in it (my grandmother’s did).
And then, as if that weren’t bad enough, there’s round shiny things on her chest?! What happened Lisa?! First the dress that the 70’s forgot and now this hot-grannie style top?
And let’s not even point out that during her portraiture sitting she had a little something right there….
It was not a good night for Jennifer or for Lisa. But there was someone who managed to look absolutely fabulous (aside from Olivia and all the men, that is)…
Jesse’s girlfriend? Looked hot! I love the dress, and I especially love the little handbag that she’s got going on as well! She looked really, really good.
All the men looked great, including your favorite and mine, Omar Epps (his suit was great but his attitude was sorely lacking.)

Fox has released new promotional pictures for House - so far these four are the only ones that I’ve found, but hopefully we can find some of House, Wilson, Cuddy, and the other ducklings!!
As for the photo of Olivia Wilde - I actually like it! I think it’s really cute - whoever did the photo shoot needs to stand up and take a bow. I even like the one of Foreman!
Would you believe that I took a trip to Tahiti for a month where I did nothing but watch House reruns and sip fruity drinks with umbrellas in them? No?! I wouldn’t either. Actually what happened is really benign - the last month of the summer just got away from me. Between all of the normal everyday life stuff, a lot of not-so-great things happened and, the next thing I knew, it was the middle of September. I apologize greatly for taking a month (or so) off, but please know that I’m here! I’m back! And now that the kiddos are back in school (one is in preschool which just started) and the new season is rushing right up to us, I’m ready to get the show on the road!
One of the good things that happened since I’ve been gone is that the gurus at 451 Press changed the layout a bit here, so I can post tons of pics in a little gallery, making it easy to see new pictures of the show, which I love.
There are TONS of things to discuss so let me gather my thoughts and I’ll be back with some spoilers and other information about the new season - I’m also working on getting some stuff for giveaways (yay), so make sure you keep coming back!

Fox’s All Star Party at the Pier had some huge stars! All the Fox celebrities showed up, including Hugh, Omar, Olivia, and Kal! Absent were Jesse Spencer, Jennifer Morrison, and Lisa Edelstein (and RSL, who’s never at these parties).
Unfortunately this year I don’t see any pics of Hugh on bumper cars, but there is a cute one of the three new ducklings!
First I had the “all the info in one place” post a few mintues ago, and now I’ve got even MORE information! Apparently my brain has escaped the confines of my head lately to not catch all this stuff. Big news first: Hugh will be on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno on Friday, the 25th!! YES! If you’re not a night owl, set your DVR to record! I’ll try to snag video of it when it becomes available for those who can’t catch it.
Secondly, there are some candids of Hugh floating around during shooting for the show the other day. Looks like they’re shooting outside? Hmmm…this could be interesting. You can see him chatting it up with a crew member and playing with a baseball (someone said it was a cricket ball, and I honestly don’t know what a cricket ball looks like!).
I’m SO sorry guys!! First we had a few really slow news days, then my entire family got struck down by the Martian death flu that is making its way around the nation. But I’m back! I promise! Oh, and if you have a lot of buildup in your chest, Mucinex really does work!

How sweet is this cover! Secondly, there is a new House commercial and I can’t find it! All of the chat boards are talking about the newest commercial, where Hugh is apparently on a bus and it goes over sideways - but I can’t find it! If anyone has a link to this, can you please let me know? Thanks so much!
Times Online had a great interview with Hugh - you definitely have to check it out. Here are a few of the snippits that I loved the best.
“I am being very handsomely paid, though. My ship has come in and I’ll be forever grateful.? He has made three series of House to date, is halfway through the fourth and is signed up for three more insert me here singing the Hallalujah chorus. Will he then be able never to work again? “That would depend on how long I live,? he replies (he is 48), with impeccable logic. “If I step under a bus in a week’s time, the answer is yes.?
His sons are 19 and 17, his daughter 14. With another three-and-a-half series to go, his family might now move to California. “It’s taken us a long time to adjust to the permanence of it. The first year I was in a hotel. Everyone else in the show was signing leases on houses and I said, ‘You’re mad. We’re only going to last a month.’ I literally didn’t unpack. I suppose it’s a form of pessimism: if a thing is going well, it’s only a matter of time, tick tock, before someone’s going to take it away.?
He says he would struggle to settle permanently in America. “I do feel very foreign there, as if I’m on safari, looking at the exotic animals and the way they behave. Then again,? he adds, “America is made up of people who don’t feel American until they do, so I’m not alone in that.?
He has, however, bought a ping pong table. “That’s a real luxury.? Is he better than his children? “Er… I’m not bad actually,? he admits shyly. I say I thought he was supposed to be Mr Self-Deprecation. “Yes, I spoke to my shrink yesterday on the phone in LA – you have to have one before they let you in – and I mentioned I was doing this [interview]. I said, ‘I can’t bear going through the same f****** dance of despair. I’m just going to say what I feel.’ And he encouraged that. So yes, I’m quite good at ping pong.? But is he better than his children? “Er… that’s a parenting issue. If I announce publicly… Er… I’d better skip over that one.? His children, he says, are “an unending delight?.

Countdown to a new House folks…just a few more weeks!!!
Sorry guys! It’s been a crazy week, and I’ve let House slide by a bit because, well, there really wasn’t much news! I was really excited when I heard that the shows were going to start again, but then I got a bit bummed when I realized it would be the end of APRIL before we saw a new episode - not that I don’t like reruns, but I really want to see more of this season and see if the old ducklings get more air time and how cut throat bitch and Wilson do together!
The news I’ve missed? Omar Epps won an award! He won the award for best supporting actor - congrats Omar!!
And some trailers have turned up for Street Kings! Here’s the best one I can find so far (I’d forgotten how much I missed Keanu in a modern law-type role), and I’ll put more up if I can find it!
Apparently my eyes have been wide SHUT the last few days! Not only did I miss the announcement of the winners of the People’s Choice Awards, I also missed that Omar Epps was nominated for best supporting actor and House was nominated for best drama show for the NAACP awards!
Back to the People’s Choice Awards, however - House WON for best TV Drama! Yes! Apparently the pre-taped show was done that way in order to prevent the same kind of problems that had the Golden Globes shutting down their doors.

Ummm - am I missing something here? Omar’s beautiful wife Keisha looks very…VERY pregnant in the photos from the baby shower…which was over a month ago. See?
Sooo…where’s the baby? I’ve been looking all over this morning to try to figure out when she had the baby, but there’s no news about any birth! Was I just really off on the dating? Has anyone heard that she’s had the baby yet, or when she’s officially due?
Omar and his lovely wife, Keisha, had a babyshower on November 3rd, with some very interesting and famous guests! Before we get to the babyshower, however, let’s discuss the episode that is going to be on tonight. Here’s the official preview:
House encounters a magician whose heart failed while performing an underwater escape act. While the remaining fellowship candidates work to diagnose the illusionist, House is determined to prove that he’s a scam artist faking his ailments to cover up the fact that he nearly drowned during his act. During the testing, House suspects one of his own candidates may have an undisclosed illness. In the meantime, House pits his team against one another in a challenge involving Cuddy, granting the winner immunity from elimination and a chance to nominate two other candidates to be put on the chopping block.

Did you realize that they’re making a new Star Trek movie? Apparently I don’t do enough searching online, because I didn’t know that they were making a new Star Trek! This Star Trek is supposed to follow Captain Kirk and all of his friends as they go through the academy and beyond. Guess who’s playing the young Spock? Sylar from Heroes!
Jennifer Morrison has been confirmed and is, I believe, already filming. Sorry I couldn’t find a larger photo! Apparently Morrison is going to be playing Dr. Carol Marcus. Her character has a son with Captain Kirk! David is his name (I didn’t realize that Kirk had a son!! I really need to get out more!)
Neither Jesse Spencer nor Lisa Edelstein have any movies coming up, but Omar Epps is! He’s finished filming A Day In The Life and it’s been rumored that he’s going to be in Love Can’t Hide as well. Olivia Wilde has finished filming Fix and Hugh, of course, has Night Watchman heading to the screen soon.
No news yet on the writer’s strike, but I’m definitely a bit frustrated that there will be no more House soon! On the other hand, Hugh will get time to spend with his family, which is great! Ugh - two sides to every coin, right?

As for House and the crew, I’m afriad I have very little information right now. I haven’t heard that Hugh has headed home yet, but he’s extremely private and may have snuck away while no one was watching. The last pic I have of him is from November 4th, when he headed to the No Country for Old Men premiere in L.A.
Lisa Edelstein, meanwhile, has been hitting the red carpet fairly heavily. Her last sighting was a week or so ago at the Lint Roller party. Looks like she brought another four legged friend! Awwww.
Omar has been off the scene (possibly due to his new baby), as has Jesse Spencer. Jennifer Morrison has been seen here and there.
So what are you buying for your loved one for Christmas? It’s always hard to pick - I stop and wonder, sometimes, what gift House would get Wilson or Cuddy for Christmas - that’s an interesting thought, isn’t it?!
In three weeks (because, dammit, House is being pre-empted on the 16th), Foreman will return to the hospital. The episode is called Mirror Mirror. I don’t have much more info about it right now, but it looks like Foreman will be in charge of the remaining candidates.
Check out these interesting promo shots. They were done by Florian Schneider. Schneider is known for creating photos out of numerous shots. According to his website, he finds photos of backgrounds that he likes and matches the actors up, in the studio, to the way the scene shold be shot. Fox is one of his bigger clients, and he’s got photos of House as well as Nip/Tuck (another of my favorite shows).
These are definitely some different promo’s than we’re used to - my husband (who’s not a Jennifer Morrison fan) actually likes the way she looks in these shots. I think Lisa looks great! And for some reason Omar’s walking away from the building while everyone else is around it - hmmmmm….very peculiar.
