Dying Changes Everything - Review Soon!
I’m sorry! I usually watch the episode and post my review up directly following the episode, but I’ve been slammed with work (don’t ever let anyone tell you that freelance writers get to chill out and watch TV all day long - they’re lying) and even though I was able to watch the show last night, I haven’t done a thorough review yet!
I will say, however, that I thought it was excellent - I thought that the whole House/Wilson thing was great, especially at the end when House went into Wilson’s office. I also thought that seeing into 13’s future was a bit…iffy. On one hand I feel a bit more concerned for her, but on the other hand I just want to say “stop whining” - even though she’s not really whining.
What did you think about the episode last night?!?!
*edited to add* How did House do in the ratings last night?
Fox was in a winning league of its own on Tuesday, beating with its combination of the season-premiere of House (Viewers: #1, 14.41 million; A18-49: #1, 5.5 rating/16 share) and week two of Fringe (Viewers: #1, 13.36 million; A18-49: #1, 5.2/13), which held 87 percent in viewers and 88 percent among adults 18-49 of the 8:30 p.m. portion of House (Viewers: 15.37 million; A18-49: 5.9/16). Although most new shows drop by 10 to 20 percent in the second week, Fringe actually built by a hefty 4.23 million viewers and 62 percent in the demo from its 90-minute debut one week earlier (Viewers: 9.13 million; A18-49: 3.2/ 9 on Sept. 10) thanks to the support of House. House, meanwhile, opened last season with 18.31 million viewers and a 7.8/19 among adults 18-49 on Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2007 at 9 p.m.
“House” (14.4 million, 5.5/16) helped fuel “Fringe” but was down 29% from last year’s premiere and was the lowest-rated Tuesday original of the drama since 2005. Should be noted, however, that last year’s opener was at 9 p.m. and during the official broadcast premiere week, so it had a better launch period.
So not a great start, but it makes sense as to why the start wasn’t so great. What do you think of this?

hi!I also red about House’s rates last night. I also thought about changing air time- maybe it was a reason.
episode - I use two words to describe that: sad and too-much-13 :P… but very good!
maybe I’m wrong but 13’s past doesn’t interest me at all. Relationship between House and Willson ( i don’t call it friendship because they were sometimes so far away from friends behaviour that could be abuse)was the center of this episode as I expected and I’m happy about way which this season is going ( Willson leaving, House tryin’ to stop him). I have only one wish for this season: more old team:)and I would be happiest girl in the world!
sorry for mistakes. English it’s not my language;)

What a great episode!! WOW! I am with you Randi.. I feel bad for 13, but I’m also like.. deal with it and live your life. I did cry though when she was telling the patient about her Huntingtons. I also got teary-eyed at the end when Wilson walked out on House and said “Maybe we never were” when House asked if they were ok.
I wish that it would go back to 9pm. I don’t want the low ratings to affect the show at all. I can’t believe more people aren’t watching this show. It’s the most brilliant, entertaining show out there. I also love Fringe. Last night was better than the first episode last week. It’s a new and improved X-Files.
Yeah.. definitely more old team. I miss Chase and Cameron. 5 minutes of screen time (actually less than that for Chase) just isn’t enough.

The show ROCKS!
I loved the Cuddy/House/Wilson stuff! I think Cuddy’s screaming at him was more about her than about Wilson and I love that she cut off his cable!
The last scene broke my heart!
WAY 2 much 13!
Loved that Chase took a stand.
Definately want to see some viccodin and clinic next week!
Ratings I blame it being on at 8pm. It’s not a good time, especially for a show that has always been on at 9pm but it’s so popular I think it will maintain it’s spot on the top 20. Ratings are probably going to be lower for all shows since so many people watch online.
