Apparently Olivia Wilde has been taking notes from last year when Jennifer Morrison went around to different events in dresses that did nothing for her - witness this dress. Olivia went to the GQ “Man of the Year Award) on November 18th and wasn’t looking her best. I know you can’t always look amazing, but this dress really does nothing for her.

Jennifer Morrison, on the other hand, has learned her lesson! She went to the 5th anniversary of the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fun on November 17th and looked amazing! I think she looks a bit thin, but then again, it’s Hollywood and they all look thin. This dress, however, looks fabulous on her!

Lisa was at the 15th annual Lint Roller Party presented by Best Friend’s Animal Society on November 13th, and all I can say is - Lisa? What happened? This dress/jacket ensemble is very unflattering and is definitely not something that I enjoy seeing her in - her dog, however, is ADORABLE!

What do you think about the lady’s outfits?

On December 9th (three days after my oldest turns 8 - I’m getting so OLD), the House Christmas episode airs! At least, it looks like the Christmas episode, and considering it’s called “Joy to the World’, I’m pretty sure that it is.

Anyway, these photos are awesome - my favorite, however, is this one - look at the white board…do you see brain and the word “Cuddy”? Hmmm…is he diagnosing an illness OR is he trying to figure out his own mind about Cuddy?! What do you think?

A troubled teen collapses during her high-school Christmas program; Foreman and Thirteen learn more about each other as they work together on the Huntington’s disease drug trial; House gives and receives holiday gifts, leading to team speculation; and Cuddy receives a gift as well. Meanwhile, House hopes to win a bet he made with Wilson.

Sorry for the delay on the recap! It’s here now - though - better late than never, right?!

The shows starts at PPTH in slow motion – watching the doctors and the patients. Eventually time speeds back up to normal. A man tries to get Thirteen to give him a refill on his migraine medication but she says that he’s not an emergency.

Foreman approaches Thirteen about clinical trials, including one that is a Huntington trial and that can help to slow the progression of the disease. She says that she’s not following any type of program for her disease.

A man is looking into Cuddy’s office and sees House searching through her desk. He goes in and asks for Dr. Cuddy.

House: She’s either not here, or she’s under the desk. Either way you’re going to have to wait outside until I’m finished.

He starts to leave and asks when she’ll return before he walks away. House just says that she will, not when she will. The man walks back outside and pulls out a gun. Thirteen and a bunch of other people come into Cuddy’s office, followed by the man with the gun. He says that he’s sick and that he wants the best doctor in the hospital to help him or he’ll start killing people.

House: What seems to be the problem?

The man instructs the people to barricade them all into Cuddy’s office. He tells House that he’s been to 16 doctors in 3 years and has had tons of tests in order to get the answer. He says he can’t breathe and that he’s constantly tired. He gets skin rashes, heart palpitations and insomnia.

House: That’s a cool constellation of symptoms. Could be something minor. At least compared to life in prison, which is what you seem to prefer than seeing 16 more specialists.

He gives house the file and throws his cane to the side. Meanwhile the entire ground floor is being evacuated and Cuddy walks into a mess.

The rest of the recap is below the cut!

Back in the room, house is checking the man over and says that he’s not looking at the files because the tests were all negative and the symptoms are what is important. One of the hostages says that his pregnant wife is sick to her stomach.

House: Next time pack some heat and maybe we’ll look into it.

The phone rings and the patient hangs it up. House wants a specific type of machine but since there’s none in the office, he settles for a lighter, which a teenage boy has (bad teenage boy!). He has the patient hold it out as far as he can and try to blow it out. He can’t. House says that the patient has pulmonary scleroderma and that it can be fixed.

The phone rings again and the patient has House answer it. It’s Cuddy and House tells her he needs a special medication in order to diagnose the pulmonary scleroderma. The patient wants Cuddy to bring it in because she’s not a guard or cop.

House: She might be armed. I’d have her deliver it shirtless.

House takes the package from Cuddy and prepares a syringe. The patient wants House to give the medication to someone else first. One of the patients tries to get House to give the meds to Thirteen, but as she’s sick, House says he can’t. He gives the meds to the larger guy who had the migraine in the beginning and tells the patient to roll up his sleeve. Before he can, however, the hostage passes out.

The patient pulls the gun on House.

House: You’re not going to do anything. You need me.
POtW: You’re right. I need you. I also need you to know that you can’t screw with me.

He moves the gun and shoots one of the hostages in the side. The phone rings again as we go to commercial.

Back form commercial and it’s still ringing. Thirteen is trying to help the gunshot victim. The patient tries hanging up the phone but Cuddy keeps calling him back. The hostage negotiator finally shows up and says that they need to set up perimeters.

Cuddy: By perimeters you mean snipers? We need to get those people out of there.
Negotiator: Got a husband or a loved one in there?
Cuddy: Um, no.
Negotiator: Don’t worry. We’ll decide when it’s time to start shooting.

Cameron is with Taub and Kutner when house pages Kutner. Foreman calls him back with all of the ducklings, both new and old, with him. Chase, however, isn’t having any of it.

Chase: You think he’s the only guy in New Jersey with an unsolved illness and a pistol? I’m not playing this game.

Chase walks out of the office. Cameron, however, says that he’s still there. House takes down some of Cuddy’s artwork and starts using it as his white board. He instructs Foreman to get the test supplies needed for bloodwork, Cameron to comb through his past medical history, and Taub and Kutner to go to his apartment to check for toxins. The patient gives his address quickly, and House notes that since he’s willing to give it, he’s not going back there, which means he has “an end game.”

The phone rings in the lobby and Lt. Bowman (our hostage negotiator) answers the phone. House has the nurse who was taken hostage draw his blood and after she’s done, the patient suddenly hangs up the phone and tells the hostage to open the blinds a little bit. Thirteen ends up doing it and they see snipers by the window. They back up once the patient says that he will kill Thirteen if they don’t back away.

House says that it’s interesting that the patient could hear the snipers, as no one else could, and that the patient has hyperacusis. House believes that this means that it is a nerve problem. The patient is able to smile but it is lopsided. House says that there is a test that they can do to check for the herpes disease that he believes that the patient has, but the test is painful, while the treatment is painless. The patient wants the test.

The phone rings and it’s Lt. Bowman. Lt. Bowman says that he won’t send in the capcasin unless the POtW is willing to give something back. He says that they can have two hostages, but that Cuddy has to bring everything in. Lt. Bowman says that it’s not going to happen, and keeps using the POtW’s name – Jason.

House: First, don’t use his name so much. It doesn’t sound reassuring, it just sounds creepy. Second, come on, he’s not going to shoot the one person he trusts to bring in his medication. He’s going to shoot the hostages if she doesn’t bring it in.

Lt. Bowman simply says that he’ll get back to them and hangs up the phone. Cuddy is fine with doing the transfers. She brings a wheelchair for the patient who was shot and takes out him and the big guy who was zonked out by the meds.

The child in the room says that he’ll take the shot, which is supposed to be painful, but House is going to give it to another guy. Thirteen, however, stands up and says that she’ll take it.

House gives the medication to Thirteen who crumbles to the ground in pain, a sign that she doesn’t have herpes.

House: Wow. I would’ve laid $20 that you had herpes.

He goes to give the POtW the shot and figures that the patient was defined by his work, and that he missed time and messed something up, which is why he’s so desperate for an answer. He gives him the shot and he’s in pain from it, proving that it’s not nerve damage and he doesn’t have herpes.

Meanwhile Taub and Kutner are in the guy’s apartment. Everything is laid out for them to see, making Taub remark that the guy was waiting for them. Kutner finds that the patient is thousands of dollars in debt with medical bills.

Taub: I’ve got debt too, you don’t see me acting like a lunatic.
Kutner: There’s no excuse for what he’s doing, but if you’ve got millions of people thousands of dollars in debt because they’re sick, at least one of thems going to do something inexcusable. Especially if it works.

Foreman and Cameron are checking the blood and the white count is normal, ruling out infection. While they’re diagnosing, Thirteen notices that the patient has a distended jugular, and that his heart is racing. House does a massage to try to help but it doesn’t work. The patient wants paddles so that they can slow his heart down, but House refuses because he’s got his finger on the trigger and the shock will pull the trigger. The patient refuses to give up his gun, however, leaving them at an impasse.

Thirteen suggests cardioverting chemically. She says that she’ll go get the meds. The guy gives her thirty seconds to get them from the crash cart. As she’s getting them, the sniper is at the door to the clinic.

House thinks she’s going to go, and that she should go. He almost shoots the boy – and then a nurse who puts herself in the line of fire (and then says “don’t shoot me” – which House finds intriguing). Thirteen comes back. The patient wants her to take the meds, but it slows the heart and House says that it isn’t okay when you’re dealing with a normal heart rhythm. Thirteen injects herself and falls to the floor.

House gives the patient the meds and his heart slows. House notices that the patient is sweating on one side of the heart but not the other, and says that it means that he has lung cancer.

Thirteen’s heart is below 50, and House says to help her up and to move her around. The POtW says that he needs proof that it’s cancer, so, of course, House calls Wilson. The patient can’t spit on the floor because his mouth is dry due to the lung cancer metastasizing. The patient, however, wants a test to prove it.

House: Good idea. Oh, damn, I left my CT machine in my other pants.

The patient willingly gives up two more hostages in order to get to radiology. He ties up Thirteen, House, the teen boy, the nurse, and another male hostage and they walk together slowly to radiology. House is trying to figure out what happened to make the guy snap. His answer?

POtW: I just want an answer. That’s all.

House looks at him strangely.

They slowly shuffle to radiology and get untied. Meanwhile the swat team is slowly creeping up into the CT hallway.

The patient has House get the machine (the computer) from the other room and bring it into the CT room. House refuses to believe that curiousity is not enough of a reason for the patient to have snapped.

POtW: This is my body. My life. There’s a truth out there. I’d rather rot in jail knowing than…I can’t handle not knowing.
House: Yeah.

House says that the metal from the gun is causing the CT to not work properly and shows the POtW the screen. He refuses and pulls the gun on House. Some hostages run out because he finally gives up the gun. The teenager, however, is still there. He says he’s stayed because he’s curious.

The phone is ringing in the background as House looks at the POtW after the CT scan. House says that there isn’t a tumor on the screen, and that he doesn’t know what the POtW has. House gives the patient back his gun. Wait, let me type that again, HOUSE GIVES THE PATIENT HIS GUN BACK.

House answers the ringing phone and says “he overpowered me, got the gun back.” Thirteen is upset that he’s given the gun back to the patient. House, however, says that he’s not scared, he’s arrogant, and that Thirteen is scared…of death.

The ducklings and Wilson (minus Chase) are back in House’s office. They’re trying to diagnose when Foreman leaves because he thinks House is going to kill someone. While the POtW is answering questions, House notices that he’s turning his head and favoring the right ear.

The patient gives up the teenager in order to get the meds to test. The patient wants House to give Thirteen the meds – he refuses, but Thirteen grabs the meds and gives it to herself. House then gives the patient the meds. The patient thinks that Thirteen should do something for her disease.

House: I can’t decide which is riskier. Taking crazy risks or taking advice on crazy risks from a crazed risk taker.

Thirteen’s heart is racing and she’s got a fever, while the patient’s breathing is unchanged. Thirteen’s kidney’s are shutting down due to the meds.

House tries diagnosing with the ducklings and Cameron says that maybe something is protecting the guy’s kidneys.

House: I need to slap you. For diagnostic purposes. Seriously. If I were jerking you around I’d say that I needed to kick you in the groin.

House slaps the patient realizes that he’s got calcium deficiency – and that he has something that has a long incubation period. Cameron thinks it’s Melioidosis, except that you can’t have it unless you’ve been to a tropical climate. He swears he hasn’t.

POtW: I’ve never been anywhere south of Florida.
House: You idiot.
POtW: Florida counts?
House: Well not to the supreme court, but it’s warm enough for germs. You’ve been blaming doctors and you can’t even give a halfway decent history.

The patient says that he can have Dr. house as a hostage. House would rather he let thirteen go and he take the meds. He says that they’ll kill Thirteen if he gives them to her. House says that he’s not leaving even though thirteen wants him to.

Thirteen: Who’s the martyr now? Either the drugs kill me, or he kills me, it doesn’t seem to make a lot of difference.

The SWAT guys come with the meds and House shuffles out.

It’s thirteen and the POtW sitting in the CT room and she’s talking to him. He says that she wants to die but that she doesn’t have the nerve to do it herself. She starts to inject herself but begs that he not make her do it. She goes to stick the needle in again and can’t do it.

Thirteen: I don’t wanna die. I don’t wanna die.

The man throws down his gun and goes to inject himself when a blast destroys the wall and they both are knocked down. The SWAT team rushes in and finds them both laying on the ground. House rushes in to check on Thirteen and finds that she’s still alive.

The SWAT team cuffs the patient and hauls him out.

House: Why are you still alive?
Thirteen: He didn’t make me take it.

As the POtW is leaving, he realizes that he can breathe and smiles at House.

Thirteen is laying in a bed and Foreman is next to her. She’s on dialysis due to the kidney failure, but it’s only temporary. She hints that she’d like to be in on the drug trial.

Cuddy goes into her office to see it wrecked, with blood on the walls and House’s writing on them as well. He comes back in to get his cane and House says that he understands why the patient did what he did.

House hints at a relationship, but doesn’t come clean about wanting to have one. Cuddy goes to open her desk…the drawer falls open because House rearranged it to be upside down.

Opens in a steel family and a young girl is talking to a guy about giving money to some sort of charity. She starts to be short of breath and grabs her chest. She falls down on the steel conveyor belt and the old man stops it and calls for an ambulance.

House steps out of the elevator and confirms that he didn’t ask Cuddy out. The ducklings start telling him about the 16 yo patient and they tell him that she’s an emancipated minor. Her parents died last year and she got emancipated to avoid foster care. She got her GED and started working.

Kutner is backing her up and says that just because she’s a teenager doesn’t mean she’s into drugs and sex. House wants him to check for drugs and a pregnancy just in case.

Foreman comes into House’s office and says that he’s been asked to help in a clinical trial. House says that he can’t because clinical trials take time, and “your time is my time”.

Kutner’s doing an echo on the POtW (Sophia) and says that he lost his parents when he was si and that it gets easier. Kutner says that her heart is healthy.

Taub and Thirteen are checking the girl’s apartment, which is well taken care of and organized considering her age. Thirteen finds a bong in her house.

The rest of the recap is below the cut!

Back at the conference room, they’re trying to figure out if the drugs had anything to do with the heart problem she had. House asks Foreman to start the patient on beta blockers. Foreman tells the rest of the team to do it and to page him if they need him (looks like he’s going out on his own anyway!)

Sophia says that the bong belonged to her ex “that’s why he’s ex” and says that they have no reason to trust her and that’s fine. She’s adamant that she hasn’t used drugs. Kutner stops the beta blockers and goes for the steroids (which could kill her if she’d used drugs).

Cuddy meets Foreman in the clinic.

Foreman: He didn’t need to say no. He just wanted to say no.
Cuddy: House did something solely out of self interest? Freaky.

Foreman is trying to annoy House by working the clinic hours. Cuddy gives him a possible House case instead. It’s a 4 year old child who has been throwing up blood and has a stomach ache and Foreman is taking care of the kid.

Meanwhile Sophia is having a freak attack and is going manic in her room. She’s fighting Kutner and Taub screaming “get away from me”.

Taub: Beta blockers don’t cause psychotic breaks.
Kutner: She’s not on beta blockers.

The patient is on halaperadol and House blames Foreman for not being there.

Kutner: I treated her based on the symptoms she had.
House: You treated her based on empathetic orphan syndrome.

Kutner swears that the heart isn’t the problem. Foreman thinks it’s Prince Metal Angina (sp) and House asks Foreman to run the diagnostic check. He tells the ducklings to set things up and to page him when it’s time to do the procedure.

Foreman’s got a pill camera that he needs the child to swallow. He asks Foreman to swallow it (it’s HUGE). The older brother convinces him to swallow it. The child starts laughing for absolutely no reason.

Cameron and Chase are getting lunch and Foreman comes to ask them for help. While he’s showing them the case, the team beeps him to do the procedure on Sophia. She’s in the MRI and Kutner’s working on her. They find no brain spasms but Kutner notices that the limbic region was lighting up when he was asking her about her parents death and foster parents.

He confronts her and tells her that the limbic region only lights up when you use your imagination. She’s lying about her parents being dead. She says that she got emancipated because her father raped her and her mother pretended that it didn’t happen.

The ducklings are diagnosing again and Thirteen is thinking about how she’s been raped.

Thirteen: We find out our patient’s been raped and that’s your response?
House: Is she a psych patient?
Taub: Rape could mean STD.
House: Thank goodness one of you doesn’t have a heart. Maybe if we all stop wringing our hands we could solve this thing and let her live to have a few more nightmares.

House believes that stress could be the problem and asks Thirteen and Foreman to give her the anti-anxiety medication.

House finds Wilson scrubbing up for surgery and he tells him about how he went to Cuddy’s house but he didn’t ask her out.

Foreman Cameron and Chase are diagnosing (ahh, the good old times). He asks them to test the child for a few different things.

Thirteen is explaining about stress to Sophia when Foreman walks in. Thirteen is talking to her about how she should turn her father in when they notice that her urine color is extremely dark now.

Turns out the brown urine is caused by shredded blood cells. House believes that maybe the patient has arsenic poisoning due to the pressure treated wood she works with at her house. During the conversation, Foreman gets a beep and leaves.

Chase and Cameron found no cancer and no profuria and Chase is worried. He believes that it’s time for foreman to talk to House. As they’re talking to the mother, the child goes into cardiac arrest. Chase and Foreman shock him and he’s back. Chase insists that Foreman talk to House about the case.

Thirteen says that Sophia is arsenic free and that she can leave tomorrow morning. She suddenly starts to seize.

They did another MRI of Sophia’s brain and there are lesions now on the brain. House wants them to put the arsenic back into her body, that it has been helping to treat whatever the problem was. Leukemia is one thing treated by arsenic and they’re asked to do a biopsy.

Foreman walks in as they’re leaving and House figures out that Foreman has a patient and that they’re younger than Sophia. House walks down the hallway with Foreman and isn’t helping.

House: You wanted something all your own? Now you have it.

He walks into Wilson’s office and tells him that his disengagement won’t work.

Wilson: So my not doing anything isn’t causing you to do anything.
House: Right.
Wilson: I’m okay with that.

Thirteen is doing the biopsy on the brain and Sophia says that she’d never get bone marrow from her parents because it would mean she owed them.

Taub says that he has Huntington’s disease, and that he would do anything to stop it from killing him, while a ticked off Thirteen glares at him.

Sophia: Have you ever been raped?
Taub: No.
Sophia: Don’t try to walk in my shoes and I won’t try to walk in yours.

The biopsy confirmed leukemia and Thirteen wants to track down her parents. House says no, but Thirteen goes to look for the parents anyway.

Chase, Cameron, and Foreman are diagnosing the young patient (Jonah) when he says that the older brother is extremely protective of him – and then he walks off to go to the patient’s room.

Chase: I think we gave him an idea.
Cameron: Either that or he’s off to kill House.

Thirteen finds Sophia’s father…except that the real Sophia is home with her father. Interesting.

Thirteen confronts Sophia, who admits that she stole the girl’s identity. She still, however, refuses to let Thirteen call her parents.

Foreman says that the patient has an iron overdose from taking too many children’s vitamins. The older brother says that he thought more would make him strong and gave him more. (Randi insert – AWWW – so nice to see siblings harming their other siblings because they were trying to HELP THEM instead of hurt them. Glad the boy will be okay!)

The ducklings tell House that they found a partial match but they’re at odds about doing the surgery. He’s surprised to hear that Sophia didn’t want her parents help because she didn’t want to feel that she owed them. Now he’s positive that she’s lying about being raped to cover up something even worse.

He finally visits Sophia and asked what she did. House believes that she did something terrible and that she wants to suffer.

House: What did you do? Eventually we’ll find your parents, if only to deliver the body.
Sophia: They won’t care.
House: You’re an idiot. You’d rather die than face your parents because you, what, broke their Faberge egg?
Sophia: I killed their son. I killed my brother. I was supposed to watch him. He was in the bath. I could hear him laughing. Every time they look at me it’s like I kill him again.
House: If you don’t take your parents bone marrow, you’ll be killing their other child. If they don’t hate you now, they will then.
Sophia: I don’t care.
House: Sure you do. You want someone to tell you that it was just an accident, that it’s not that bad. It is that bad, and you know it. There’s nothing you can do to change that. But there is one thing you can do to not make it worse.

He hands her the phone and you see her parents showing up at the hospital. You see the two brothers getting ready to leave the hospital and the mother hugs Foreman. Sophia’s parents go into the intensive care room where she’s sleeping. She wakes up and sees them and starts crying…they all start crying.

Foreman tells House again that he wants to do clinical trials.

Foreman: I’ve proved I can do two cases at once. I can do this. And I’m doing it.
House: Okay.

Foreman: Three days ago you said no.
House: Three days ago you asked me. Now you told me. I can’t say no if it’s not a question.

Wilson catches up with House in the elevator. From the conversation they’re having, House knew about the four year old patient and wanted to prove to Foreman that he could solve the case on his own.

Wilson: You’re going to be okay House.
House: Good to know.

Anyway, Hugh came out and looked amazing, as always. Ellen asked if the limp was causing him to have problems and he said that yes, he’s going to sue Fox because of it (ha ha). He also said it was the easiest part of his day, doing the limp. He talked about buying his home and said that he hasn’t got anything in it yet!

Ellen gave him an awesome house warming gift - it’s a welcome rug that says “House’s House”. Too cool! Now I want one! To give away…of course…ahem.

Anyway, she talked about him dating Emma Thompson once upon a moon ago. Why don’t they ever ask him how he and his wife met or about how much they love each other? I love Emma, but that was EONS ago!

Then Hugh agreed to go into the dunk tank to help raise money to feed those who need a hand this year - apparently Sara Lee has agreed to give $10,000 for every celebrity that goes into the dunk tank. Hugh, of course, walked out wearing his tux and got dunked in it.

So awesome.

If anyone finds a YouTube or pictures, please let me know so I can put them up! Thanks!!

In the photos I put up the other day I noticed something interesting - there was a clear shot of the directory for Princeton Plainsboro Hospital!

I happen to have a hard time imagining spacial things - it shocked me to realize that House and Wilson’s offices were on the fourth floor and the MRI was way down on the bottom floor. I knew the clinic was on the first floor but didn’t know that the patient rooms were on the third floor.

Am I just that oblivious? Probably.

Opens with a man lying on the ground with flowers also on the ground in front of him. People come in and crush the flowers – paramedics – and are trying to treat him. He is outside of his house on a stretcher when he punches a paramedic and runs back into the house.

Cameron is in front of House and the ducklings talking about the POtW. Apparently the patient and his girlfriend were shot seven years before, which is why the patient is now severely agoraphobic. Cameron knows that patient due to talking to him through the door when she as a community outreach doctor.

House sees Cuddy through the glass and she stops to talk to him. He heads out to talk to her. She hands him takeout menus as a ruse to talk to him. She says they only kissed because she was emotion and he let his human side show for a moment.

Cuddy: I just want to say thank you for not taking advantage.
House: You’re welcome. Any time you want to stop kissing, I’m there for you.

House goes back into the room and Thirteen asks what Cuddy wanted.

House: I hit that last night and now she’s all up in my jock.
Thirteen: Wow. Looks pretty good for someone on rufees.

The rest of the recap is below the cut!

The ducklings are trying to figure out what equipment they can bring with them to the POtW’s house. House sends them to do some tests and to search the home for toxins.

The ducklings and Cameron get into the POtW’s house. She’s using machines to try to provoke a seizure. The POtW apparently works writing tech manuals and is “very happy” inside his home.

Wilson goes into House’s office and asks about Cuddy. House says the same thing that he said to the ducklings. Wilson, however, believes him.

Wilson: There’s a reason…
House: Yes, those large things, in her bra.
Wilson: you were hiding it from me. Means it meant something to you.
House: Yeah, I fiendishly hid it in the phrase ‘I hit that’.

The ducklings call House, making Wilson leave, and start trying to diagnose the patient while House is asking about Cameron and Chase’s love life. House believes that the patient was too close to the outside and it raised his blood pressure. He wants them to bring the patient outside but Kutner points out that he punched out a fireman and that they’re not bouncers. (during the conversation he slices open a “bug bite” and puts a band aid on it).

House shows up at the POtW’s house with a bunch of people in an effort to bring the outside to the patient.

He walks with the people into the bedroom and the patient begins to panic and have severe stomach pain.

Cameron uses a portable x-ray to check his stomach. There is a partial small bowel obstruction. House goes into the patient’s bedroom and says that he needs to have surgery and that he needs to go to the hospital.

POtW: I made my wishes clear.
House: Uh huh – and if the crazy fairy was here, she could grant them.

The patient says that he’d rather die in the house than live out in the real world. House says he knows a surgeon who will operate in the house. Cameron catches up with House before he leaves and he explains that Chase won’t operate in the house, but will knock the patient out, bring him to the hospital, operate, and then slip him back before he even knows what happened. Cameron finally agrees.

Chase and Cameron are at the patients house and everything is set up for surgery. Before he gets knocked out, he tells Cameron she’s a good person. Chase and the team knock him out and take him out.

Wilson catches up with Cuddy at the cafeteria. She admits to kissing House because she was vulnerable.

Cuddy: I leaned on him.
Wilson: It’s funny, I’ve leaned on friends in the past…never leaned so far my tongue fell into their mouths…

During the conversation Wilson realizes that Cuddy’s thought a lot about how a relationship with House wouldn’t work, but he says that it might. Wilson is actually pushing Cuddy TOWARDS House!

Chase and Cameron are walking the patient through the hospital and talking about which house they should spend the night at. Cuddy finds the patient and finds out what happened and doesn’t want to let them have surgery and go home – she wants him to stay there for risk of post op infection. They leave and Cuddy points out that House’s hand is bleeding (from the earlier bugbite)
House: Huh. That’s weird. I usually don’t get the stigmata until Easter.

Cameron’s in the operating room with the patient and injects him with medications to wake him up. She tells him that he’s in the hospital and he starts to freak out. His blood pressure starts going through the roof and before she can sedate him he pulls his lines out and fights. They finally sedate him.

Apparently the patient woke up enough to call his lawyer and the patient is heading home. Cuddy says that they’re all off the case (is she TICKED).

Cameron catches up with House and wonders why he didn’t argue with Cuddy. Cameron and chase have a minor skirmish.

Cameron heads back to the apartment and is talking to the POtW through his steel door. He lets her in.

Wilson catches up with House again and believes that she kicked House off the case because they haven’t dealt with what happened. He says House is scared to get involved with Cuddy.

House: How is that scared? It’s rational.

House asks Wilson why it matters so much to him and he says it’s because he wants House to be happy. House thinks Wilson is trying to live vicariously through House.

House is on the phone with Cameron and they get Taub and Kutner to do the surgery in the patient’s home.

They cut the bowel and House checks it out under the microscope. Suddenly there’s a bleeder and the patients bowel is on fire due to the gas buildup. House saves the day by stopping it. They believe it’s Whipple’s disease and that the patient will be fine with antibiotics.

Chase goes to POtW’s apartment with coffee and the patient yells for her. His legs are numb and he can’t feel them at all.

Due to the problem that has just appeared, it’s not Whipple’s Disease. They wonder if it’s Celiac disease and House says they should force feed him wheat. Cameron believes House just wants to force feed him to get him in pain so that he’ll go to the hospital. Foreman says they’ll do both tests.

Wilson goes to Cuddy’s office and talks about how House accused him of being interested in Cuddy. He says that he’s always had some feelings for Cuddy but that his feelings are problematic because it’s to soon after Amber and it wouldn’t be fair to House. She asks him out to dinner and he says “okay”.

Cuddy: Or maybe it’d be better if we just had sex.
Wilson: Pardon me?
Cuddy: In front of House’s office. I mean, I don’t wanna take any chances. I assume the point of this is to make him jealous and make him realize that he does want a relationship with me?
Wilson: Yes. You think it’ll work?

Nice try Wilson.

The patient is eating the wheat and talking to Cameron about the situation that happened. He admits that he was agrophobic before the shooting, albeit not as bad as he is now. That he gets physical pain from going outside. The only reason he wants to go out was due to his girlfriend.

House goes into the lab and pours the blood out and, in a round about way, gets Taub to slow the tests down and wants him to slip saline into the patient instead of morphine so that he’ll get in so much pain he’ll come home. He also says that Taub is willing to do all of this stuff because his marriage is falling apart.

House is in his apartment and has set up an elaborate propane tank machine to attract the mosquito that bit him. The cap comes loose when he goes to whack the mosquito and then the stove turns on. Everything blows up…and then House wakes up.

He goes to Wilson’s house due to the mosquito, which Wilson doesn’t believe exists.

House: I’m not imagining things.
Wilson: House, you’re a drug addict, you’re always imaginings things.

Wilson thinks that the bug bite is actually itching that occurs whenever he thinks about Cuddy. He tells House he should either go home or go to Cuddy’s and kicks him out.

House, instead, goes to the patients house. The patient loses his pulse. House calls the lawyer to get permission to bring the patient to the house. He gets it, but then Cameron zaps him and gets him stable enough to stay at his apartment.

Taub comes to the apartment and puts in an external pace maker to keep the heart going. Thirteen remarks on how clean the apartment is. House goes into the patients room and asks how often he washes his tub.

POtW: Every couple days.
House: Bleach and ammonia?
POtW: Yeah.

Ammonia and bleach make chlorine gas which is fat soluable and is why his stomach is getting worse. Taub says that the external pace maker is going to fail eventually.

Cameron goes to Chase to try to get him to do the pace maker, but he says he can’t do it in the apartment. He says she asked because she just wanted a reason to be mad at him. He says that they spend all the nights at his place because whenever he was at her place she always kicked him out in the morning and never offered him a drawer.

Chase: I was just a visitor.
Cameron: How long have you felt like this?
Chase: From the start.

He tells her that he can’t keep chasing her forever and walks away.

House is sleeping in his office when Cameron calls – vitals are getting worse. She figured that House would put him on saline so she switched it back to morphine and the stomach pain is still there. House puts the xray he’s got up on the board and says that the patient is being poisoned.

House goes to the apartment and points out a density in the man’s hip. House believes that he has lead poisoning. He cuts into the man’s hip and starts pulling out little pieces of lead that were there after he got shot.

House says that the patient is miserable and that he’s a coward – that he was trying to leave the house the day he collapsed to leave flowers on his girlfriend’s grave.

House: You want to change your life, do something. Don’t believe your own rationalizations. Don’t just lock yourself up and pretend you’re happy.

He leaves and Cameron goes to see Chase. She tells Chase that she cleaned out a drawer for him – a big one – and he smiles and nods.

House is playing the guitar when he finally sees the mosquito. It lands on his hand and he just blows it off. He grabs his keys and heads out the door. He drives over to Cuddy’s house as we get flashes of the patient trying to leave his house and Chase putting his clothes in the drawer.

Taub’s on the couch and his wife climbs in next to him. Awww! House sees Cuddy in the window. The patient makes it onto the front porch and starts to walk down. House, however, turns around and walks back to the bike.

The House crew, however, had a much busier weekend than I did!

On Thursday night, Hugh was spotted at the BAFTA/LA Britannia Awards looking absolutely divine in his tuxedo. I love a man dressed up!

Jennifer Morrison was at the 2008 Hollywood Domino Tournament To Benefit The Art Of Elysium. She looked good! I’m still not a fan of the blonde hair, but the dress is very nice.

Lisa Edelstein was at the premiere for the Warner Bros. movie RocknRolla. Looking, as always, absolutely stunning.

Jesse Spencer was at the AFI FEST 2008 Centerpiece Gala Screening Of “The Wrestler” looking scruffy - just the way I like him!.
