Figuring Out the Future

by Randi

So what do you think will happen on the finale on Monday? There are a few different ideas. Here are some -

Jake says:

House saves Amber. Somehow, sometime. I say that he actually risks his life for her. Remember the pilot? House took the case because Wilson said it was his cousin. I say that House will try to save Amber because of Wilson.

If not that, I say that he might let her die so he can have his Wilson time. I doubt that though.

Interesting Jake…

Davis says:

I think that amber on the bus with house was not a coincidence. I think house wanted to talk to amber privately (or amber to house) but did not want Wilson to know, so they went to the bar. I think Amber refused to ride on the back of house’s bike so she had the bar tender take away house’s keys. When the bus got hit it, looked like amber was talking to house, and she could have been telling him something important. I think she (being an independent person) was going to ask Wilson to marry her. Since House is such a big part of Wilson’s life she would need to ask for his blessing (or approval) to marry Wilson. I don’t know if house would be okay with that, but that is one of my many theories

Here’s the promo for next week:

Want my theory? Below the cut!

Alright, here are my thoughts. First of all, I believe that House was in the bar with Amber because she popped up during his hypnosis, and I don’t think that was a coincidence. So she was at the bar. Why she was at the bar, I have no idea yet. They either wanted to speak in private (I wouldn’t put it past Amber to track House down), or they met on accident, but that doesn’t look like the kind of bar that Amber would frequent on her own.

People seem to forget that House was drunk, and I’m betting that there was a reason for that. Whether it was because he had to tell Amber something bad, or because he didn’t want to hear something from Amber, I’m not sure yet. Why Amber took the bus with him, though, confuses me. Doesn’t she have a car?

The big question, though - will Amber live or die?!

Hmmm….

As of right now, I’m going to say that Amber lives.

What do you think?

    Nice observation.

  2. Kerrie Says:

I think you are on to something but I tend to think she may die. In the Lisa Edelstein interview she says the real cliffhanger is what is to become of House and Wilson’s friendship. Is Wilson going to blame House for Amber being on the bus with him and getting in the crash? Even if she was just making sure he got home ok. But I do think their meeting there had to do with something serious he had to tell her or she was going to tell him (maybe she was going to ask Wilson to marry her???). Can’t wait for Monday - whatever happens, it’s going to be a great ending to our short season!

  3. rans Says:

remember that house also said “i dont sacrifice self”

i have no idea whats gonna happen… it looks like house do try to save her… but there was an “i’m sorry” in that promo… it could be that “i’m sorry i can;t do it” or “i’m sorry she died”

    who knows

  4. Dee Says:

I have no guesses about what happens to CTB or why she was in the bus. But I doubt the House/CTB kiss scene is anything beyond a dream/hallucination.

On the other hand, I do have a guess about Lisa Edelstein’s suggestion that the cliffhanger is truly about House and Wilson’s friendship. I think it’s already in the promo: House coming to grips with the notion that Wilson might be willing to risk him to save Amber. That’s pretty huge, regardless of whether she survives or not. Just my two cents.

I do have another (pessimistic) prediction, though: the promo already shows the one and only scene in which Chase appears. *grumbles*

  5. Namikwa Says:

I think Amber is his daughter since is trying so hard to save her and getting so emotional about it…

  6. Judy Says:

Im thinking she had House check her out for some kind of illness and wanted to keep it from Wilson. He said whatever she has is not from the crash. There was something going on in her body and she and House met at the bar out of the way to keep it from Wilson. She knows House is the best and if anyone could help, he could. I’m hoping she will live but we probably wont know until next season.

  7. shell Says:

Omg, this all sounds so good Im already sitting on the end of my chair! Im in australia so we’re quite ar behind, we just saw the episode “No More Mr Nice Guy”, so we’ve got a few weeks untill the finale. I heard somewhere tha the actors’ contracts stated that there will be at leaset a seventh season of house, hope it wasn’t just a roumor…

I don’t really like amber but I think i do want her to live. She made wilson so happy. But as long as nothing happens to 13 or cuddy, I’m fine.

  8. deny Says:

that promo is just killing me. i cant till monday. :]

  9. Miko Says:

Did anyone notice that House was crying right at the end of the clip? - can’t wait!

Before the season started, people wanted more House/Wilson interaction; they got their wish!
