Great New Episode!

by Tricia

Wow! I really enjoyed the new episode of House - Words and Deeds. I’m going to be writing up a recap later today for those that missed the episode.

There were a few twists that I wasn’t expecting, and unfortunately I caught some medical mistakes. I recorded the episode on my DVD and I want to watch the episode one more time. I came up with some interesting ideas and theories about the show as I watched it the first time round, so I’d like to go over it one more time and see if my initial impressions are still valid.

Did you enjoy Words and Deeds? Was the outcome what you expected?

Unfortunately, I missed the episode. I’ll check back later for the recap, though!

I thought the ending was too trite and was, in my opinion, a bit of a let down. Sure, we know that the cop was a sadistic jerk out to get house and shape the world to fit his narrow view, but it just re-affirmed once again the unrealistic power associated with the position of physician. You can lie, steal, cheat, act like an ass and get away with anything…

Don’t get me wrong, I love House. I love the character Hugh Laurie has built, and I can’t imagine him being anything but a self-centered SOB. However, he’s a character we can all love to hate and watching him manipulate the world around him with no real consequences is starting to get a little bit old.
