House - A live episode?
I hate this.
Why bother to start the season off and then go to reruns until January 30th? Yes folks, we have to wait until January 30th before we’ll see another new episode of House. The upcoming Jan. 30th episode is going to be called “One Day One Room”.
The title of the upcoming episode made me remember the live episode of ER that have aired on occasion. If House really did do an episode that took place in one room they could easily attempt to do a live show. Now wouldn’t that be an interesting concept?
I don’t know if they’d ever try a live show though as I’m not sure that the ER live episodes were ever seen as being big hits. Certainly I’m sure the first one or two got high ratings since it was such an unusual move in this day and age, however I remember having the feeling that they lacked the punch of a filmed episode.
What do my readers think?
Should House ever attempt to do a live show?
If you think that a live show might be interesting do you think that it would be sucessful? As in a show to remember or would it fail miserably?
Leave a comment please, I’d really love to hear your thoughts on this.
BTW tonights rerun was the Season two finale “No Reason” the episode in which House got shot.

I’m so glad to see more “House” watchers! They are a rarity in my life–no one to dish with! I would HATE a one room–live house! Half of the fabulousness of House is his banter with different departments–clinic–breaking into Wilson’s office–oh, remember when he was at home and stole Wilson’s food!! You can’t just lock him in one room–where would the snippy remarks and witty, snarky banter come from! NO is my vote on a live show! But, honestly, if it got it back on the air any sooner–I would be happy to watch it–crappy banterless writing and all!!
