House in America
I got a desperate email from a reader this morning who was providing me with the news that Hugh has, apparently, purchased a house in the United States. She also asks that I refrain from posting images or the address of the property.
“I think Hugh deserves a bit of privacy, don’t you?” she asks.
Yes, I do. I will refrain from posting these photos, or from saying where you can see them. I wanted to write about him purchasing a house in the US, however, because I hope it means that he will no longer have a rocky relationship with his wife or kids. I am hoping that this means that Jo and the family will be moving over here, at least part of the year, so that they do not have to be separated as much as they usually are. Hugh and his family deserve not only privacy, but also the ability to be able to spend quality time together.

It’s a good choice not to post pictures and stuff (well, easy for me to say since I’ve seen both already^^), he deserves some privacy and if the news about his new house is spread all over the internet it’s not going to be easy for him.
I’m happy for him, very happy actually - it’s good for him to have his wife and kids with him, and it’s good for us because it obviously means a couple of more seasons House

No offense to you or the person that E-Mailed you that information, but is there any sources to back-up this information? I would like to see the sources. Thank you.

Hm. I stand corrected. I found it myself.
Nice house, by the way.

Are we sure the whole family will move in? I mean, some of the children are still in school back in England. And now they’re going to study in America? If I recall correctly, Hugh didn’t want to change his kids’ lives. That was in fact the main reason in the first place to avoid the whole family moving. I don’t get it. I don’t care, but still don’t get it.

@ Mary: We don’t know for sure, that’s true. But I still think they so.
Hugh once said in an interview that Rebecca would love to move to America, so maybe they decided that’s the thing to do. Well, and the boys are going to college now - it’s not that unusual that kids dont’t live with there parents when they go to college/university.

@ Sandra. Just curious, but in which interview did Hugh mentioned that about Rebecca. I would love to read/watch that one!
@ Jake. Where did you find that information about the house? I would like to read the source also :-p.

@Judith: I wish I could remember in which Interview he mentioned that Rebecca would love to move to America. I’ll search for it on my computer (it was either in a magazine or one of his guest apparences with Jay Leno & co.), I’ll let you know here in case I find it!
