House listed in top 10 in Ratings ranks

So which shows are at the top of the list this season in the crucial adults 18 - 49 audience demographic? Well, the season to date numbers from Nielson Media Research is out and House is number 6 on the list.

Here’s the current top ten ranks for this portion of the 2006 - 2007 season -

1. Grey’s Anatomy - This ABC hit dominates the 9 pm Thursday night slot since it moved over from Sundays earlier this season.

2. Desperate Housewives - This show went into a bit of a slump at the end of last season and struggled at the beginning of this season but as the storylines get more interesting it’s climbed in the ratings ranks.

3. CSI - Unable to climb higher since Grey’s Anatomy move to the Thursday line up, CSI is holding it’s place at a strong third.

4. Lost - I’m not quite sure how this show has held at fourth place since there haven’t been any new shows for a month or more, but this ABC series still makes the list. The show is set to get a new timeslot in February when it begins airing episodes once more.

5. Heroes - This new show came out of nowwhere and quickly became a fan favorite this season. Save the Cheer leader. Everyone wants to be a hero, or so it seems with this shows impressive popularity. NBC’s got a hit on their hands.

6. House - Our favorite show’s holding steady at a respectable #6 in the ratings. The New Jersey based Dr. Gregory House goes from strength to strength. I can’t wait to see what happens when the show returns early next year - will House stand trial? Will he end up in jail or in rehab?

7. ER - Now in it’s 13th year this show is still a favorite of those who enjoy a good medical drama.

8. Dancing With The Stars - This seasons episode of the popular show has ended but ABC will be bringing it back in three months for yet another round.

9. CSI: Miami - Now in it’s fifth season this show has been performing respectably in its Monday evening time slot. It’s said to be one of America’s most-watched shows by total viewers.

10. Survivor: Cook Islands - Don’t forget to watch the final two hour episode beginning at 8 pm EST this evening, followed by an hour long reunion show.
