House picked up for a fourth season
Fox has renewed two of our favorite shows a little early. It was announced just the other day that House has been picked up for a fourth season, and Bones has been renewed for it’s third season.
As you probably already know, House is the top drama on FOX. It centers on Dr. Greg House, played by Hugh Laurie who is now a two time Golden Globes award winner. Dr. House is a brilliant yet unconventional physician. He brutally honest to a fault.
Did you know that the series January 30th episode, “One Day, One Room” was the highest rated drama broadcast on the 06/07 season on any network among adults 18 - 49. It was also the highest rated scripted telecast on any network in nearly a year.
In the last episode that aired, February 13th’s Insensitive, House had it’s highest rating ever among adults 18 - 49 tying with it’s January 30th episode, and the highest rated broadcast ever among adults 18 - 34, teens, women 18 - 34 and men 18 - 49 and 18 - 34. It also had the highest retention of it’s American Idol lead-in among adults 18 - 49 (86%) and adults 18 - 34 (93%).
In other words the last weeks episode was the highest rated ever. It’s a top show, everyone loves in and it’s coming back next year. Yeah!
Which I suppose is why they feel that they can get away with not giving us a new episode until March 6th? Huh?
More on this in tomorrows post. Stay tuned.

I’m SO glad it’s coming back for another season, but really? What is up with the broken up season?
