Hugh Laurie makes list of favorite TV personalities

by

Hugh Laurie The results of a recent Harris Poll has just come out. The poll asked US adults “Who is your favorite TV personality?” and for the 5th year in a row Oprah topped the list.

Hugh Laurie on the other hand, a first timer on the list, made it all the way to number four! When the results were broken down by age groups Hugh Laurie was most popular with Generation X who are now between the ages of 30 and 41.

The list of favorite TV personalities is:

1. Oprah Winfrey
2 Jon Stewart
3. Bill O’Reilly
4. Hugh Laurie
5. David Letterman
6. Jay Leno
7. Ray Romano
8. Kiefer Sutherland (first time), Ellen DeGeneres, and Conan O’Brien all tied for 8th spot.

Well, I’m not surprised to see that Hugh Laurie, for his character Dr. House, has finally made the list of favorite TV personalities. We all love his bluntness and daring don’t we? Still, I think if we were faced with a doctor like that in real life he or she probably wouldn’t make our top ten list of favorite people.

Are you surprised to see who made the list?

If you were making a list of your top ten favorite TV personalities who would make your list?
