Jesse then went on to play the role of Billy Kennedy in “Neighbours”, a long standing Australian Television series. He was on Neighbours from 1994 until the year 2000.
Jesse Spencer’s film credits include a starring role in Boaz Yakin’s “Uptown Girls” with Brittany Murphy and the biopic “Swimming Upstream” with Geoffrey Rush and Judy Davis. He also appears in the independent film “Flourish” by up-and-coming writer/director Kevin Palys, starring in the lead role of “Eddie Gator.â€? Jennifer Morrison also co-stars in Flourish.
Spencer has worked extensively in the UK and Australia in both television and on stage. He starred in the acclaimed BBC drama “Death in Holy Orders” and has had starring roles in the BBC adaptation of “Lorna Doone” and Hallmark’s “Stranded.”
The Australian actor’s lead roles in the theater have included “Terrenceâ€? in “The Modernists,” directed by Robert Delamare, at the Sheffield Crucible Theatre, and the title role in “Peter Pan” at the Hammond Theatre.
As of 2004, he is based in the USA playing the role of Dr. Robert Chase in House, alongside Hugh Laurie in the title role.
Jesse also became engaged to his co-star Jennifer Morrison (Cameron) in December, 2006.
