New Fall Fox Schedule - Yay House!
Wow - it turns out that Fox is canceling TONS of shows! Including:
Drive
Happy Hour
Justice
The O.C.
The Rich List
Standoff
Vanished
The War at Home
The Wedding Bells
The Winner
Of COURSE House is not on the list - I think they’d have to watch out for a mutiny if they took it off. Here’s the new shows that are hitting Fox come fall:
Back to You: This one’s got Kelsey Grammar and Patricia Heaton (who thought to put THEM together?) and I’m sure the think it’ll be their money maker.
Canterbury’s Law: Denis Leary and Julianna Margulies? Wait - I’m confused - I thought Denis had a solid gig going with his fire drama on FX?? Now he’s in a courtroom??
Kitchen Nightmares: Gordon Ramsey - a kitchen - isn’t this “Hell’s Kitchen” revamped?
K-Ville: This one’s a bit odd - a police drama that’s set in New Orleans after Katrina hit - this could get rough people…
Nashville: So they cancel the O.C. to bring a “real” show about people trying to bust into Nashville - wait, did Fox turn into USA when I wasn’t looking?
New Amsterdam: An immortal New York detective. Angel on speed?
The Return of Jezebel James: Parker Posey and Lauren Ambrose are sisters that live together and carry each other’s babies -well one of them does. This has nightmare written all over it.
The Rules for Starting Over: A new comedy from the ever-funny Farrelly Brothers - four friends who are living in Boston and decide to “start over” their lives. This COULD be okay…
The Sarah Connor Chronicles: WTF?! Since when did Sarah Connor deserve her own TV show? I mean, Terminator was good and all, but didn’t they pretty much kill it with the last Terminator movie? Do you think the Governor will guest star??
The Search for the Next Great American Band: Yeah - why am I not surprised - another “find the next great star” show from Fox. Whoopee. Guy - we’re all getting sick of this! Enough is enough!
When Women Rule the World: The release boasts the achievements of “Joe Millionaire,” “My Big Fat Obnoxious Fiance” and “Temptation Island.” I am already scared.

I agree with you, “The Rules For Starting Over” MIGHT be alright…

Kitchen Nightmares should be good… Gordon goes into failing businesses and tries to turn them around. He has a few seasons under his belt doing it in the UK
Addictive and informative viewing!
