No More House On iTunes
In May, iTunes started making House episodes available for downloading. It was a smart move, as House is one of the hottest shows in Primetime. By the way, did you know that the premiere saw 18.1 MILLION viewers? That’s a crap load of people!
However, the contract is up in December, and, as of now, it won’t be renewed. This is because NBC’s contract with iTunes expires in December, and they haven’t been able to come to terms yet. Yes, House is on Fox, but both Fox and NBC are owned by Universial Medial Studios.
I have some friends who aren’t able to watch Fox on tv, but are able to download it on iTunes. Now, however, they’re not going to be able to do it after December. No worries, though, because NBC is creating it’s own online video application that promises to be better than YouTube. Better than YouTube?! This I’ll have to see!

Fox and NBC are not owned by Universal Media Studios. NBC owns UMS, and UMS produces House, and sold it to Fox.
