Olivia Wilde at SAG

Well, Olivia Wilde was the only House star that I could find at the SAG awards! I’m really shocked, actually, I thought Lisa Edelstein would be there for sure, especially since she’s been such a huge supporter of the SAG during their strike. I’m still kind of bummed that House lost…I mean, the show doesn’t need any awards for me to know how awesome it is, but to lose to Sopranos, which hasn’t had a new episode in how long? Just seems odd.
Olivia looks…eh…okay, I guess. I usually like her a lot better in her finery, but for some reason she looks a bit haughty in these photos…not sure why. Is it just me? How do you think she looked?

I’m already OD’d on OW. You would think she was the star of the show the way she is showing up everywhere. I don’t even like her character.

Technically, House didn’t “lose” to the Sopranos because it wasn’t nominated for Best Ensemble. HL lost to Gandolfini.
As far as OW, I think she looks stunning. Lisa Edelstein and the rest of the cast can’t just “go” to the awards ceremony. If you aren’t a nominee, a guest/date of a nominee, or a presenter, you have to submit your name to a raffle drawing in order to get a ticket. The tickets are really difficult to get, so Olivia Wilde was just lucky. In other years, no one besides Hugh Laurie has attended the SAGs because it’s so difficult to get in.

Don’t like Olivia or at least her character on House so I’n bit impressed. She seems kind of snobby to me for some reason. Sorry if that offends.

I love house and I love all the characters but this new bunch and especially Olivia Wilde has taken a little of the shine out of watching it. Bring back the original cast of docs.

YIKES. i used to think this chick was sorta hot, but her throaty man voice always annoyed me. now her looks have gone too. is she at least a good actess though? house is such a great show! don’t let her ruin it!

I realize that everyone is entitled to their opinion, but some of these comments are a bit unnecessary if you ask me. Admittedly, Mrs. Wilde may not look her best in these photos, but I don’t think that should leave an open window to insult her talent. She is an amazing actress, and personally, I love her character, and her voice (someone had the nerve to describe it as ‘manly’), which I think is pretty damn sexy.
