Scrubs parodies House

house-mr2 Did anyone watch Scrubs last night? They did an episode called “My House” and just as you might guess it was a parody of our beloved House M.D.. I kind of like the idea of a hit tv show creating an episode that mimics another hit tv show.

The Scrubs episode involved the doctors being perplexed over one of their new cases. The patients skin had turned orange and they couldn’t figure out why. They also had a female patient with heart trouble yet they couldn’t identify a specific heart problem.

Just like House they go over each clue for their patients illnesses and fail at each new idea or test that they try. Dr. Cox, John C. McGinley, naturally plays the very Dr. Gregory House like doctor, heading the team as they try to diagnose their patients illnesses.

It was a pretty good episode. If you missed it hopefully you’ll be able to catch it another time.

For those that watched Scrubs, at least it gave us a small and humorous taste of House. I’ve been anxiously waiting for a new episode. I am happy to report that a new House M.D. episode will air next Tuesday. This new one will have House trying to figure out why a fireman won’t stop shivering, and he’ll also be dealing with Tritter and his trial. It should be a good episode. Don’t miss it!
