Shutout At The Emmy’s

*sigh* - House was completely shut out at the Emmy’s! Outstanding Lead Actor in a drama series went to James Spader (WTF?! - I love James Spader tons too, but WTF?!), and Outstanding Drama Series went to the Soprano’s. Ah well, the Sorprano’s last year was this year, so NEXT year, we’ll rock the house! Meanwhile, though, on to the photos!

Hugh looked good last night! Not all men can pull off that “scruff” thing.

And losing didn’t bring him down - he rocked the TV Guide AFTER PARTY instead!

Lisa looked GORGEOUS last night! I loved the dress! This woman definitely does NOT look her age!

Ack! First she dyed it, now she CUT it! Jennifer Morrison sporting a new ‘do at the afterparty.

Or IS it cut?! I can’t tell if it’s cut or just upswept - there’s no photos of her back end!!

Jesse looked somber on the red carpet, then…

Tried to pull off a “Gregory House” look at the afterparty…

But couldn’t manage it!

Omar and his lovely wife attended the gala - no pics of them at the after party, but I’m sure it was because his wife was too tired to hit it! And who can blame her?!

I dunno, these pics of Jennifer look more like “her” than others sporting the new blonde tresses. And I think this one is just an “upswept messy do” lol
Even though I only watched the “Soprano’s” once (maybe twice lol), I GUESS they deserve to go out on a high note. House will be around next year to snag it back, we hope. Depends on this upcoming season with the new residents. The “game show” interviews should prove to be most entertaining, as only Hugh Laurie can pull off. lol

Hugh Laurie is the most incredible actor ever and none of the other nominees last night even came close; Spader isn’t even in the same universe of talent! Hugh is just so talented and has really made House’s character what it is. It is a terrific show and written and cast extremely well. Hard to figure out why it wasn’t recognized last night, but that’s Hollywood! Lori (Baltimore)
