What’s Wilson’s Heart About?
If you haven’t seen the episode, or read the recap from last night’s episode, House’s Head, go do so now. I promise, I’ll wait.
Are you back? Good.
I have got a few ideas as to what is going on and what is going to happen. No, I haven’t read any spoilers - I’m just basing my thoughts on the episode last night. I know, as House fans, you’ve got an idea too! I’d love to have everyone comment and say what they think is going to happen in next week’s season finale. I’ll put some of the best ideas up in a collective post tomorrow and will also put up my thoughts about what will happen. This way you can have the rights to come back next week and say, “see! I told you so!”

First of all, what a crazy episode! I loved it. My previous favorite episode was “Three Stories.” But, this isn’t a comment to tell you about my favorites and what I loved, it’s a comment to tell you my predictions:
-House saves Amber. Somehow, sometime. I say that he actually risks his life for her. Remember the pilot? House took the case because Wilson said it was his cousin. I say that House will try to save Amber because of Wilson.
-If not that, I say that he might let her die so he can have his Wilson time. I doubt that though.
-Thirteen’s name is Remy Hadley!
I have to go now, but I’ll be back around 3pm.
-Jake Willis (05-13-08)

I think that amber on the bus with house was not a coincidence. I think house wanted to talk to amber privately (or amber to house) but did not want Wilson to know, so they went to the bar. I think Amber refused to ride on the back of house’s bike so she had the bar tender take away house’s keys. When the bus got hit it, looked like amber was talking to house, and she could have been telling him something important. I think she (being an independent person) was going to ask Wilson to marry her. Since House is such a big part of Wilson’s life she would need to ask for his blessing (or approval) to marry Wilson. I don’t know if house would be okay with that, but that is one of my many theories

Wow…quite an episode. So Amber’s dying…that’ll be interesting. May 19th can’t come quickly enough!

I think that House and Amber were together at the bar so that they could talk away from the hospital and Wilson. I think that House thinks that there is something medically wrong with Amber and he wanted to discuss it with her. I think that Amber knows something is terribly wrong with her medically and is too scared to discuss it with Wilson right now. So, she is confiding in House because she trusts his medical opinion and she knows that he will help her because he cares for Wilson. Wilson will find out and they will all find out that Amber’s condition is terminal. Wilson will beg with House to help her, but House knows deep down NOTHING will help her. House helps her, putting his own life in jeopary for Amber/Wilson, but it doesn’t work and Amber dies. Wilson is devestated and blames House for not telling him earlier that he thought something was wrong with Amber.House and Amber DID NOT have an affair. House WOULD NOT do that to Wilson. Cut to Season5…………

I’m expecting a HUGE cliffhanger, and so lots of discussion during the summer (winter for me, since i live in South America). House’s Head has been such an amazing episode i’m just hoping for the best. I know it’s not traditional-House’s finale to have a cliffhanger, but they have been taking lots of risks this entire season.
I think House’s memory won’t be entirely unfold in the last episode, it will leave the rest of the characters just like we’re now. The medical mistery might be solved, though, after all we’re dealing with a hell of a diagnostician. I love finally taking a view on House’s human side rather than brilliant manipulative genius side. The drama might not come from a medical condition but from a deep emotional issue. Hope TPTB don’t just use Amber to create a situation on House and Wilson’s friendship and toss her out, she’s grown on me a lot, and Anne Dudek is a fantastic actress.
House&Cuddy thing, after last night ‘diferential diagnostic’ im so glad the limits for their relationship that apparently writers made have been tresspassed. With the critical situation now, maybe there won’t be time for that, but it’d be awesome.
Cant wait!!!

“House would not do that to Wilson” - HUH? This is the same guy who jeopardized Wilson’s MEDICAL license so he could get some drugs, and you think he would draw the line at competing for Amber? As House himself said in the previous episode, “Yeah, that sounds like me.” Not.

No way Amber and House are having an affair. That would be completely out of character for Amber. If she wanted House she would GET House, or do everything in her power to have him. She would drop Wilson and focus all her attention on reaching her goal.
I don’t believe that the crash is what is going to be the life-threatening factor to Amber. House obviously saw a symptom, possibly in a split-second, before the crash. But what could POSSIBLY be an illness that would require House to risk his life to save her???
House was drunk for a reason. In all the seasons I can’t remember him drinking heavily without a motive(he did have a beer in Season One-Grolsh, my favorite!) but the times he downs scotch is always occupied by something that is weighing on him(i.e. his loneliness, the outcome of a case, yada, yada…)
I have been wracking my brain to figure out what they were together for. I believe House called HER, and that their being together is because House has an issue. With House it’s always complicated, but if he would turn to someone it would be Amber. Wilson and Cuddy coddle him. Cameron loves him. Chase resents him. Foreman judges him. The only one that could give him ‘House-like’ analytical, unbiased, advice based on the symptoms of what’s ailing his mindset would be the character most like him. The only difference is that Amber still has the an emotional element that House avoids at all costs. This makes her useful to him.
Whatever it is I am truly expecting an incredible season finale. While I was sad that the season was short, if the finale is even half as good as I think it’ll be-next season will be shaping up to be the best one yet. Everybody lies…

Oh yeah and how RIDICULOUSLY hot was the Cuddy pole dancing/differential diagnoses?! I have to admit I missed ALL of the dialog in that scene. I’ll have to re-watch that scene again when the it comes out on DVD(veeeeeery slooooowly…)

I agree with Jason BUT…. I think that when house risks his life for amber, he loses it. Its the best show ever but in a medical show, you can’t have a infinite number of credible diagnosises. That’s my dark horse of a prediction… Call me crazy but this show throws surprises all the time
